Improving Antibiotic Use

Register for IDEA³S training day 

Members of the Infectious Diseases and Pharmacy Departments at Austin Health, Victoria, Australia will hold an IDEA³S training day on July 26th 2005 from 10.00am to 3.00pm at Austin Health. 

The following topics will be covered:

• Why use IDEA³S to improve antibiotic usage and appropriateness of prescribing at your organisation 
• Requirements for successful implementation of an electronic advice and approval system
• IDEA³S technical infrastructure
• How to modify antimicrobial-indication algorithms to suit  organisations other than Austin Health
• How to change information presented in 'treatment of common pathogens' module
• How to use IDEA³S as an audit and feedback tool.
• IT requirements to use IDEA³S as a multi-use application 

Also, on the day of the workshop, you will receive

• A copy of the IDEA³S Administrator Manual
• IDEA³S promotional material to use at your organisation

Morning tea and lunch will be provided.
